Goals

In order to meet a Group strategy and compliance requirements, the objective will be to support a Procurement organization and its teams in search of maturity and performance by focusing on the following elements:
Revisit the fundamentals in Procurement among the best practices in the World
Facilitate synergies between Procurement and the various players in the business
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with a customer-driven and business development approach
Establish effective communication within and outside Procurement department
Embolden Procurement function in the company's strategy

Day 1 – Fundamentals in Procurement and Partnering

Fundamentals in Procurement: the concept of vision, the mission of Procurement, developing a strategy, continuous improvement and value creation
Become a recognized Partner in the company: understand the "business" environment of the company, its strategy, identify the levers of Procurement involvement and accountability, interact with internal customers, how to communicate effectively with stakeholders

Day 2 – Envisioning Operational Procurement duties

Create and develop an "ideal" supplier: Buyer profiles versus Seller profiles, expectations and priorities vis-à-vis a supplier and how to develop collaboration, tools for monitoring supplier performance
Spend management: the involvement of Procurement, understanding financial levers, tools and process for monitoring financial performance, Controlling versus Purchasing: SOD
Interactions with the Supply Chain environment: liaising between Procurement and Supply Chain, Logistics and Compliance, the various structural elements of the Supply Chain, risk management, the key parameters of international trade and consequences for the sourcing strategy
